The Other Half Cast

Nathan Apodaca (Sora)
Nathan Apodaca started acting on Peoria stages 10 years ago and was mostly recently seen in shows such as Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery and Out of Sight, Out of Murder. More recently Nathan has been working with local filmmakers at Candlelight Digital and GGFilms with projects like Cadavers: The Vulture and the upcoming Slum Absolution. Nathan Is excited to see local theatres pushing through recent events to experiment with bringing shows to audiences in different formats! He hopes you’ll enjoy this and the upcoming performances from Corn Stock!
Alexa Johnson (Pip)
Alexa is a sophomore at ICC. She’s been in dozens of shows Over the past decade. She hopes you enjoy this unique theatrics experience.
Anna Oxborrow (Sora's Mind)
One of Anna's favorite things to do is perform at Corn Stock. Whether it is in the Tent or at the Lab, she feels alive when she is acting, directing, or simply helping backstage. She recently directed CSK's Anne of Green Gables that was cancelled due to Covid-19, and hopes to be able to see this production come alive in the Spring of 2021. She was last seen at the Tent as Actress 1 in Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Comedy (2019), Evie in Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Clause at the Lab (2018), Gloria in Boeing, Boeing (CST 2018), Cassandra in Vanya and Sonya and Masha and Spike (CST 2017). Anna has her BA in Theatre and Media Arts Education from Brigham Young University and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from American College of Education.
Nyk Sutter-Downs (Pip's Mind)
Nyk Sutter-Downs is Corn Stock's Theatre Manager and has been directly involved with Corn Stock since 2002 when he made his Tent debut as Dream Ballet Curly in Oklahoma! He absolutely adores CST and the fact that it's the place where he met, proposed to, and married his husband, Nate. In addition to being an actor, Nyk has also worked behind the scenes as a director, choreographer, and on multiple technical crews. Some of his favorite on stage theatrical credits include: Moritz Stiefel in Spring Awakening, Lucian/Choreographer in Bare, Man Bird/Lizard/Father Frog in A Year With Frog and Toad, James in The Lieutenant of Inishmore, and Billy Crocker in Anything Goes. Favorite film credits include: Kyle in The Black Tie and Sparkling Clementine Man in The Dreamers.
Megan Johnston (Mira's Mind)
Megan has been a fully committed techie volunteer and member of Corn Stock Theatre since 2017. A jack of all trades, she has held varying crew member positions in several shows both in the Winter and Summer Seasons, her favorite being stage manager! Most recently, she had the best seat in the house (in the booth, calling the show), at Corn Stock's lab theatre for William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet with Director Amy Glass. You may have seen her running circles around the tent-arms full of costume pieces, wigs, makeup, a random thing or two in both hands; outside delivering water to actors on hot sweltering August nights; putting back together a prop that has fallen apart for the 100th time; or doing whatever needs done to put finishing touches on a production. Megan is the 2019 Golden Ears Award Winner for her commitment and passion for backstage (and sometimes on stage!) work, and truly embodies the word "techie". Currently, she is staying busy behind the scenes at the lab theatre.
