Mr. Scott has been the Choir Director at EHS for the past 16 years, but only for the past four has Mr. Barker been teaching band alongside him, which forever changed him as a human being. COVID sucks, but the Performing Arts are Stronger than COVID. We WIN! He would also like to thank his wife for her patience and grace. Mr. Argo and Mr. Fiedler are his heroes. Miss Allison and Miss Juliet are his people of inspiration. He loves his children, coffee, and above all, Mr. Barker. (He is also super jealous of how talented and pretty Mr. Barker is.) Benjamin R. Barker is an award-winning music educator, composer, and woodwind specialist based out of the Seattle area. He is a graduate of Whitworth University with a bachelor's in Music Composition and Music Education. While his focus has largely been writing for his band students, he has written several pieces for a variety of ensembles, including solos, chamber groups, wind ensemble, strings, choir, symphony orchestra, and now, musical theatre! He's currently in his 4th year as director of Bands at Enumclaw Middle School and Enumclaw High School.
