CHRISTINE GENTRY
Christine Gentry joins BBQ on the list of good things to come out of Texas. She holds a Ph.D. in English Education from Columbia University and currently serves as Visiting Assistant Professor and Residency Director for the NYU Teacher Residency in New York City. In what little spare time she has, Christine likes to write short stories, perform in oral storytelling shows, and produce/host shows and workshops for The Story Collider. Her stories have been featured on the TEDx stage, The Moth Radio Hour, and This American Life. She is also a Moth Mainstage performer and three-time Moth GrandSLAM champion.

GIANMARCO SORESI
Gianmarco Soresi is a stand up comedian whose jokes have appeared on Netflix’s Bonding, SeeSo’s New York’s Funniest, PBS’ Stories from the Stage, Real Housewives of New York and Amazon’s Comics Watching Comics (season 8 winner). He’s appeared opposite Jennifer Lopez in the movie Hustlers, CBS’ Blue Bloods, TBS’ The Last OG and will be in the upcoming Billy Crystal/Tiffany Haddish movie Here Today.

TRACY ROWLAND
Tracy is a 3-time Moth StorySLAM champion, plus a producer and host of The Story Collider and The Liar Show, two long-running NYC storytelling institutions. She works days as a writer and video editor, where her promos and shorts have appeared on NBC, Cartoon Network, and Al Jazeera America. Tracy’s voice could be heard this summer on promos for This American Life and S-Town. She won a local Emmy in 2010, but her mom still thinks it was the regular kind.

RICHARD CARDILLO
Richard Carrillo is a lifelong resident of the Lower East Side in Manhattan and has been an educator for over three decades. He still considers himself more of a learner than a teacher….but always a storyteller! Rich is a six-time Moth StorySLAM winner. He’s performed at, Yum’s The Word, Pros(e) Of Pie, Story Collider, The Liars Show, RISK!, and was recently featured on The best of RISK! #12 Podcast. Rich was recently featured in the PBS Series: “Stories From the Stage”. This summer, he debuted his solo show “Invisibility” to sold out audiences at The Tank. Rich is a passionate activist (recently garnering his first civil disobedience arrest in support of immigrant rights while inside Trump Tower!). His playground voice has transitioned nicely to become his protest voice!
