The Addams Family Cast

Mr. Nevin Voth is a senior at Smithville High. He has been involved in theatre for 6 years, including 5 prior shows with SHS theatre. Nevin is Treasurer for International Thespian Society #6819, a member of the drumline as well as the SHS band, and an active member of Game Club. Nevin plans to attend college in the future and pursue a career in voice acting. He would like to thank Mr. Pittenger for guiding the production, the cast, and especially the crew for their hard work and putting everything into the show.

Chesney Schreier is the daughter of Arnie and Ronda Schreier. Chesney is a Junior at Smithville High. She is making her SHS theatre debut, though she is a member of both band and the Lakeside Singers. Chesney would like to thank her parents for all of their love and support.

Connor Owen is the son of Lisa McNeal, Holly Campbell, and Kevin and Katrin Owen. He is a Freshman at Smithville High and he is making his SHS theatre debut! Connor wants everyone to know that “this is his first huge musical that he has been in and that it has been really fun to experience the magic of meeting older students and learning from them. Everyone has been very supportive and there for one another since auditions. We’re like one big, goofy, odd family! The Addams Family!”

Kristen Rodgers is the daughter of MaryJo and Dan Rodgers. She is a Sophomore at Smithville High and she is making her SHS theatre debut!

Miss Ava Johnson is the daughter of Michael and Josephine Johnson and stepdaughter of Thomas Mason. She is a sophomore at Smithville High. This is Ava’s third SHS theatre show after Snoopy!!! The Musical and Leaving Iowa last year. Ava is also the historian for International Thespian Society Troupe 6819.

Isaiah Thurston is the son of Levi and Danielle Thurston. He is a Sophomore at Smithville High. Isaiah worked a spotlight for last Spring’s production of Leaving Iowa, but The Addams Family marks his on-stage debut! Isaiah is also a member of the SHS band and GSA. Isaiah is very excited to be working on this show and he looks forward to participating in other productions in the future!

Aaron Kratofil is the son of David and Dr. Michelle Kratofil. Aaron is a Junior at Smithville High. You may have previously seen him in Shrek the Musical back in 2017. Aaron is the vice-president of game club and is a member of the Lakeside Singers and the Welding program at Northland Career Center.

Sierra Quinn is the daughter of Kelli Quinn. She is a Freshman at Smithville High. You may have seen her in Shrek the Musical here at SHS theatre back in 2017. Sierra is a member of STUCO. She would like to thank her mom, her grandparents, Larry and Terry Reno, as well as a her sister. She is excited for what the rest of her SHS theatre career will bring!

Miss Taylor Baldwin is the daughter of Rachel Frazier and Brad Baldwin, as well as the stepdaughter of Daniel Frazier, granddaughter of Ronald Baldwin and of Shari Copeland as well as the sister of Colt Frazier. You may have seen Taylor last year as Lucy Van Pelt in Snoopy!!! the Musical. Taylor is a member of International Thespian Society Troupe #6819 and she holds the distinction of being the only senior in debate. Taylor plans to attend Truman State University and pursue a degree in Biochemistry with the goal of becoming a Crime Scene Investigator for the FBI. Taylor and her grandmother were tremendous help in pulling, altering, and assembling costumes for the show as well!

Katelyn Burkhart is the daughter of Branden and Nicole Burkhart. Katelyn is a Freshman at Smithville High and is making her SHS theatre debut! Katelyn plays soccer and guitar in addition to theatre.

Miss Amanda Frey is the daughter of Diane and Charlie Thompson. Amanda is a Junior at Smithville High. Amanda has been involved with Shrek the Musical, The Great Gatsby, Snoppy!!! The Musical, and Leaving Iowa here at SHS theatre. Amanda is vice-president of International Thespian Society Troupe #6819 is also involved with the SHS band.

Miss Elaine Hawkins is the daughter of Dr. Rena and Dr. Jason Hawkins. Elaine is a Sophomore at Smithville High. She has previously been seen in Seussical the Musical, Shrek the Musical, Snoopy!!!! the Musical, and Leaving Iowa here at SHS theatre. Elaine is the secretary for International Thespian Society Troupe #6819 and is a member of the Lakeside Singers. Elaine is very excited to be a part of the ensemble and serve on the stage management team, which has allowed her to learn more about behind the scenes production of a musical.

Leighya McNeely is the daughter of Ron and Valorie McNeely. She is a Senior at Smithville High. Leighya has been involved with theatre all four years of her high school career. Leighya is a member of International Thespian Society Troupe #6819 as well as STUCO, GSA, NHS, and the Lakeside Singers. Leighya plans to go to a 4-year university and pursue secondary English education and film studies. Leighya appreciates her parents, family, and friends who have supported her.

Megan Mosby is the daughter of Terry and Dawnia Mosby. Megan is a Junior at Smithville High. You may have seen her in Shrek the Musical back in 2017. Megan is in the Creative Writing Club and the Teaching Professions program at the Northland Career Center. She would like to shout out her little sister, MaKenna Mosby.

Abbygail Rushing is the daughter of Marc and Brenda Rushing. Abby is a Sophomore at Smithville High. She worked sound crew for Snoopy!!! the Musical and lights for Leaving Iowa but she is making her on-stage debut in The Addams Family! Abby is involved with Soccer and yearbook here at SHS.

Gracie Slay is the daughter of Jack and Lynne Slay. Gracie is a Freshman at Smithville High. She is making her SHS theatre debut!
