Join SAS Performing Arts Concert Opera  for an unforgettable afternoon as we present music by composer Richard Wagner and honor one of its foremost interpreters, internationally acclaimed American soprano         Luana De Vol. 

Our program will include selections from Tannhauser, Das Rheingold, Parsifal, and Die Walkure, featuring the complete first act of this masterwork. Tickets, which range from $15 to $25, are now on sale, with a portion of the proceeds going to the SAS Performing Arts Company Luana DeVol scholarship for the Dramatic Voice.

Miss DeVol's career, which spanned over 25 years, is considered one of the world's most successful dramatic sopranos, having sung major roles in the world's major houses, including La Scala, Milan, Teatro de Liceu, Barcelona, the Wagner Festspiel Bayreuth, Vienna Staatsoper,, and the Metropolitan Opera New York. 

Our cast of singers include Soprano's Monica Camafreita, Kirsten Chambers, and Gillian Watson. Mezzo Soprano Annie Chester, Tenor Jon Janacek, Bass Alex Adams-Leytes and Virdell Williams. Our Collaborative Pianist is Eric Malson. 

SAS Performing Arts Concert Opera focuses its efforts to promote the operatic art form by bringing this music, in a concert format, for audiences to enjoy thus enriching the community's cultural life. Our concert format accompanied by piano, in conjunction with the future  use of English surtitles, makes this intricate art form more accessible to our audiences We anticipate the exhilarating connection generated between music, text, and drama will become more immediate in an intimate, up-close atmosphere.
