On The Stage (OTS) is proud to partner with the Drama Teachers Association of Southern California (DTASC).

Our all-in-one technology platform is uniquely designed to help drama teachers:

  • Drive revenue with ticket sales, subscriptions, merchandise, and fundraising
  • Create professional experiences with seating charts, ticket scanning, show websites, and a show program generator
  • Save time and money with box office and production tools

Plus, through this partnership, OTS is able to help fund DTASC, contributing to their festivals and scholarship fund.

We currently work with several DTASC member schools and are honored to be part of their ongoing work. We recently sat down with Seth Cohen from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School and Joshua Brady from Western Center Academy to discuss how On The Stage has contributed to the success of their programs.

Palos Verdes Peninsula High School

When Palos Verdes Peninsula High School first reached out to On The Stage, they were exploring solutions to help them increase not only ticket sales but the number of productions they were able to execute each year. Since partnering with On The Stage, Palos Verdes Peninsula High School has been able to increase ticket sales by 11%, double their number of productions, increase student participation and engagement, reduce at-the-door waits by increasing online sales, and expand their reach by offering streaming options of their performances.

Western Center Academy

Marketing was a key focus area for Joshua and his program at Western Center Academy when they first partnered with OTS. Taking advantage of our automated emails and social media integrations, they were able to quickly grow their online ticket sales. They have since moved away from physical tickets and streamlined their Front-of-House experience with scannable digital tickets. On top of this, Western Center Academy has increased their brand presence and created passive income by offering on-demand merchandise that is drop shipped directly to patrons.

Partner with OTS

OTS is uniquely positioned to support DTASC members with unparalleled industry expertise and commitment to continuously invest in innovating for theatremakers. Founded by Tony award-winning producer Hunter Arnold (Hadestown, Dear Evan Hansen, Once on This Island), OTS is on a mission to make Broadway-caliber technology accessible to performing arts organizations of all sizes. OTS’s fees can be fully passed on to ticket buyers making it completely free for your school to use. The best part? When DTASC-member schools use OTS, DTASC will receive a portion of those fees which will be used to help fund DTASC festivals and scholarship fund.

If you’re a DTASC member, you can harness the opportunity to book a personalized demo through a dedicated member-specific page. Be sure to check it out along with our other helpful resources.
